San  Clemente

This "Spanish Village by the Sea" features beautiful weather, stunning views, and a lively downtown community.

Located in Orange County, San Clemente is one of the most beautiful cities in all of Southern California. The official nickname of San Clemente is the “Spanish Village by the Sea,” given by the early colonization of the city by Spaniards. The area was practically uninhabited until 1776, when Mission San Juan Capistrano was formally established. Following the establishment of this mission, both Indians and Spanish settlers started to live in nearby villages. San Clemente was officially named a city until 1928.

Today, the destination is known for its majestic Southern California weather, spectacular views, and comfortable atmosphere. A more unique aspect of this city is that it provides visitors and residents with both ocean and mountain views. There is a wide variety to do, from shopping and dining, to exploring the many natural attractions.

San Clemente Pier

One of the premier destinations in San Clemente is the historical San Clemente Pier. Whether you’re walking out onto the pier to watch the sunset or to simply get some exercise, you’ll be provided with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean as far as the eye can see. No matter which time of the day you choose, the San Clemente Pier, will always be fun and exciting. Numerous special events are held here, such as the Ocean Festival and Chowder Cookoff.

The pier is open from 4:00AM to 12:00AM. Given its prime location in Southern California, the weather is almost always fantastic. If ever you want to grab a bite to eat, the Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar is situated directly on the pier. This delicious eatery specializes in seafood, from Cajun ahi to pan fried oysters. This general area is also a great spot for surfing and relaxing in the sun.
