Brandon Taliaferro
Realtor
As a San Clemente native growing up on the beaches of Lausen and T-Street, Brandon is passionate about the area in which he lives.
“I have so many fond memories of growing up in San Clemente — the beach, Ocean Festival, Junior Lifeguards, being a paperboy for the Sunpost…” These experiences and lifelong knowledge of south Orange County help Brandon pass on his passion to his clients.
A world-class competitor, Brandon started his volleyball career at San Clemente High School (’96) and then went on to UCLA. At UCLA, he was a four-time All-American and two-time National Champion. He was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2017 and was an alternate on the 2008 Olympic volleyball team.
“Any success that I achieved in sports, it was because I loved it and I worked harder than everyone else. I wasn’t a great natural athlete.”
He transitioned from volleyball into owning his own plumbing business, A to Z Leak Detection, which he started in 2004 and continues to operate today. His vast experience with home plumbing, construction, and customer service helps him advise his clients on one of the most important purchases of their lives.
Brandon also co-founded the 949 Volleyball Club in 2009 and remains an active coach, helping to teach kids skills that can be used both on and off the court.
He is a father of two, and his wife Heidi is a real estate attorney. His pastimes include surfing, foiling, volleyball, pickleball, and traveling.
